In the VPN on Demand section, I put in the IP address of internal host and the FQDN of the internal host, but nothing seemed to work. I used the IP address of internal host and the FQDN of the internal host and neither fired off the VPN connection. One thing that I tried to do on the Mac just now was get the VPN on Demand to work. I don't have my Mac with me ATM, I'm pretty sure I ticked that box the other day, but I'll check it later today, hopefully that's all I need to do. So I ticked the 'send all traffic' box and it worked straight away. I was just working on a 10.7.5 Mac and it did exactly the same as mine (10.10.2).
